About AppUpdates

AppUpdates is a utility bot built to relay app update information across multiple platforms (e.g. Android) into a Discord channel. The update message varies, from detailing the release notes and exact app statistics like ratings, to simply stating a new client update. This depends on the magnitude of information disclosed by the services (e.g. Google Play Store) that distribute apps to the aforementioned platforms.

The bot sends messages via a webhook, therefore this bot needs the Manage Webhooks permission when setting up. You can give the bot a role or permission on a channel to do this, and remove it later once setting up is done. Remember, the webhook gets deleted automatically if the bot leaves the server!

NOTE: The bot is still new and so the only supported feed types for now are the following:

• Android (Google Play Store)
• iOS (Apple App Store)
