About Bad Word Blocker

Bad Word Blocker is a Discord bot that can block bad words, links, and phrases. Everything that should be blocked is organized in a "blacklist" that can be accessed with the /blacklist slash command. It also supports strikes, limits, and bypassing.

When a message is sent, the bot will match it against everything in the blacklist. If blacklisted item(s) are found in the message, the message will be deleted. Optionally, if at least one limit is created, the bot will keep track of how many times they said a blacklisted item (see "strikes" below).

Strikes keep track of how many times a person said a blacklisted item in your server. Limits put a "cap" on the amount of strikes a person can get before a punishment. You can set limits with the /limits command.

NOTE: One limit must be set before the bot will keep strikes.

When a message is blocked, by default, the bot will send a red embed saying a message was blocked. The title, description, and color of the embed can be changed with /custom_embed. Embeds can be disabled, or set to delete after a certain amount of seconds.

If a log channel is set with /log set, Bad Word Blocker will notify the channel when a message is blocked.

Bad Word Blocker is an English bot. However, if you add non-English items to the blacklist, it will also work.
