Vent channels are a great way for users to express themselves. If they’re feeling anxious or depressed, vent channels offer a safe space to get things off their chest. Unfortunately, many people going to vent servers simply don’t receive the help they need. Often, their messages go unanswered or worse, they can become victims of trolling and bullying.

Each post on our bot is evaluated by a suite of text-based deep learning models. If we detect someone at high risk, we route them to life-saving resources and interventions. Otherwise, a friendly human will offer them messages of hope; with each message being reviewed by our machine learning models prior to being shared as a threaded reply to the user’s post on your vent channel. This significantly reduces the risk of bad advice and trolling and helps to ensure your venting channel is a safe space for your users.
