Weaver's story

Have you ever struggled to find the right bot for your server? Well, I had. I was looking for a bot that could do it all. And there were many, actually. The only thing is that they all had limited features, premium features, or were just too expensive. You shouldn't need to pay to have a discord bot, THE discord bot, in your server.

🕓 November 2020. I got tired of those bots, and I knew there were more people thinking the same. So I decided to create my own bot, with all the features I wanted, and make it public. Lambda Bot was born.

🧑 But this was no ordinary bot. As the bot grew, I started to add more and more features, and I started to get more and more users. And those users brought not only more users, but also more ideas. And Lambda became the bot "made by you, for you".

🤖 1.5 years later. Lambda reaches 200 servers. I reached my ultimate goal. 3 complete rewrites, 2 complete redesigns, and 1.5 years later, I reached my goal. And I stopped. I didn"t have time to work on the bot anymore. I had to focus on other things. Discord kept launching new API versions, Discord itself got better and better over the time. And Lambda stood still in time. I had to do something.

Well, I did.

Lambda Bot had reached the limit. Even though it was a great bot, it was time to move on. I tried updating it, but it wasn't the same. It was time to start over. I had to rewrite it, and I had to do it right. I had to make it better, faster, stronger. And so I did. I started from scratch, with a new name, a new design, and a new purpose. And that's how Weaver was born.

A new purpose, to connect You and Discord. A new bot. Weaver.
